Tigatieto Oy is a Finnish family company founded in the year 2000 offering mainly IT design, computer programming, and internationalisation services as contract work. We implement custom-made software solutions for other businesses, especially for Linux / UNIX platforms and IBM mainframes. We have also expertise in implementing local networks and in testing electronic equipment.

We also speak several natural languages and have good knowledge of different writing systems and their implementations on computers. We have participated in developping the Unicode editor Yudit under GNU license by translating the program in Finnish and adding support for most Indic scripts. Our developmental work included also helping with the support of bidirectional text and the Arabic language.

We are also ready to give consultation and to educate customers concerning the previously mentioned subjects.

Our company operates in two locations, Tampere and Vantaa (both in Finland). We prefer to do programming as distance work.
